Byishimo Patrick is from South Kivu, Congo born and raised. He is a father of three children and has one wife.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Guidance and Counseling from St. Laurence University. Byishimo is one of those refugees who have spent more than 10 years in exile.
Byishimo Patrick is the Chairperson of the Sebineza Women Care Organization, a community-based organization dedicated to empowering and supporting refugee women, particularly those facing challenges during pregnancy. As a committed leader, Patrick plays a crucial role in overseeing the organization’s strategic direction, fostering partnerships, and ensuring that programs effectively serve the needs of refugee women in Nairobi, Kenya. His leadership focuses on advocacy, community engagement, and sustainable solutions that improve maternal healthcare and economic empowerment for vulnerable women.
With a passion for humanitarian work, Patrick continues to drive the organization’s mission forward, ensuring that every refugee woman receives care, dignity, and opportunities for a better future.
