Overview
The Sebineza Women Care Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2022 to empower and support refugee women, especially during their pregnancy journey. Officially operational since September 2024, the foundation is based in Nairobi, Kenya, and is driven by a mission to alleviate the hardships faced by refugee women and their families.
Founder
Sebineza Paul Ndasarara, the visionary behind the foundation, was inspired during his visit to Kenya in 2019. Witnessing the struggles of pregnant refugee women, he envisioned creating a safe and supportive space where these women could access essential care and resources to lead healthier and more empowered lives.
Mission Statement
To support and sustain refugee women during pregnancy by providing comprehensive care, education, and advocacy that fosters their overall well-being, empowerment and self-reliance.

Objectives
Reduce risk: Reduce the risk of pregnancy complications, stillbirths, and harm to the mother
Provide education: Teach healthy behaviors and warning signs during pregnancy and childbirth

Treat conditions: Treat conditions like hypertension to prevent eclampsia, and immunize against tetanus
